Young children are passionate learners. Our school
has instituted a Pre-Kindergarten program that we feel
will provide the best in educational opportunities for
your child. Our Pre-Kindergarten student now
widens his/her scope of knowledge through advance
computer learning. At this age, they are now ready
to begin learning a second language. Music and
movement now envelop our entire program. Buddy
confidence and self esteem are also developed at
this age. Our Pre-Kindergarten advance curriculum
continues the learning process by channeling the child's
development with strong academic skills. Our
Pre-Kindergarten children are getting ready to read,
utilizing math basics, understanding computers,
participating in hands on Science activities, speaking a
second language and have already pulled ahead socially
and academically than other children.
Language Arts
Your child learns identification, name and
alphabetical recognition and writing.
Science/Health
Teachers focus on thematic instruction in life
science, physical science, earth science, and the
environment. Your child will develop his/her
hands-on activity and observation abilities.
Social Studies
Teachers stress an understanding of your child's
environment at home, in school, and in the community.
Your child will develop observational awareness and
description clarity.
Foreign Language
We first introduce our children to foreign
language at the four year old level. Beginner
expressions, days of the week, numbers and
cultural awareness related to the foreign language
selected are studied. (French, German, Italian, Spanish)
Physical Education
Your child's large muscle skills will develop
through cooperative play inside and outside.
Computers
Your child learns the use of hardware, software,
keyboard skills, games, and introductory programs.
Teachers concentrate on developing your child's
independent use and enthusiasm.
